Experience the High Country’s biggest Easter festival in Dinner Plain! It is a magnificent escape for families with a wide variety of activities and entertainment for all ages. The village is a hive of activity on Easter Saturday with plenty for the kids to do between 11am and 3pm including a circus show and play, storytelling, magic show, jumping castle and face painting. The grownups have not been forgotten with Blizzard Brewery’s 2nd birthday celebrations, live music and the famous Car Boot Sale between 11am and 1pm. On Sunday morning be sure to get the family down to DP Hut at 9am for the Grand Easter Egg Hunt, a must-do for the kids and completely free. You might even see the Easter Bunny! At 10am the Dinner Plain Geebung Polo Match begins at Cobungra Station, book tickets and the bus online via the Geebung Polo website.

Who will win the survival of the fittest, in a game twisted with competitive sportsmanship and character, this year? Watch the wild country lads of the Geebung Polo Club take on the City Slickers ‘Cuff’n’Collar’ Polo team in this classic Australian event held every Easter Sunday. Get ready for a fun day out for the whole family packed full with live music, helicopter rides and Easter eggs, tug-o-war, food and wine stalls, fashions on the field, face painting, jumping castle and much more. Bring a picnic rug and a chair, back up the car, sit back and relax. Hosted on the grounds of the beautiful Cobungra Station, a 20 minute drive down the road from Dinner Plain. Return buses can be pre-booked from Dinner Plain.
