We’re starting the final month of Autumn with a big week of seasonal festivities. Join us on Thursday evening for the Autumn Festival Bush Dance, a community fundraiser for the Bright Autumn Festival. Please book your tickets today! Then on Friday night is the exclusive High Country Harvest 100 Step Feast – an indulgent progressive dinner through the streets of Bright, which begins with a seasonal beer tasting at Bright Brewery and will include the first ever tasting of our new Pumpkin Harvest Ale, which we brewed in collaboration with Pepo Farms. You will also be tasting our English Nut Brown Ale, and Hop Harvest Ale, before moving onto one of the final ever dining experiences at Tani Eat & Drink before they close their doors to focus on gin distilling. On Saturday evening we are hosting the first Bright Village Campfire at Bright Brewery. This is a free and open event to all, with everyone welcome to join us in warming themselves by the fires and sharing in fantastic local produce. 100 Step Feast – Fri 5th May from 5pm (High Country Harvest) Walk, skip, dance, a progressive feast through the streets of Bright. Indulge in a 4 course dinner experience, all within 100 steps! Pick, Pickle, Wine and Dine
Love your olives? – Then this hands-on tour of a working olive grove, olive picking and pickling experience and post-harvest feast is for you!
Impress your friends and become a master at picking and processing your own table olives with Colin and Elisa Bertuch at Mt Buffalo Olives! Our local grove at the foothills of Mount Buffalo produces award winning Olives and Extra Virgin Olive Oil and boasts a stunning, terraced olive grove that overlooks the Alpine Valley and has magnificent views of the surrounding, majestic mountain peaks.
The day starts here at Mt Buffalo Olives with a cup of freshly brewed tea or espresso coffee and homemade goodies. After morning tea take a tour of the grove, harvest your olives and then learn the tips of the trade to successfully pickle them.
Following the morning’s activity, take a short drive across the valley to Boyntons Feathertop Winery to enjoy a wine tasting experience with accompanying canapés. This is followed by a delicious, two course lunch matched with Feathertop Wines on the Tuscan style terrace.
Your day starts at 9:30 am and finishes at 4:00 pm and includes olives, olive picking kit, pickling notes, morning tea, tour of grove, wine tasting experience, food and wine with lunch.
This all inclusive package will see you heading home with a swag of riches from our Alpine Valley and knowledge to draw on when harvesting your own olives! What more could a D.I.Y foodie ask for?

Porepunkah is starting to shape up with road works continuing.
