HIGH COUNTRY HOPS – Beechworth

Sat 25 March, 11am-6pm, free

Join us in Beechworth this weekend for the third annual High Country Hops festival at Bridge Road Brewers, as the High Country brewers celebrate the 2017 Hop Harvest. This special High Country event brings together like minded craft brewers and the local growers of that all important brewing ingredient, HOPS! The festival will bring together the four founding brewers of the High Country Brewery trail, as well as the 3 new breweries to the trail Rutherglen, Social Bandit (Mansfield) and Blizzard Brewery (Dinner Plain) who will be offering their beers away from their home. The High Country Brewers all share strong links with each other and with our local hop growers. This free and family friendly festival is a celebration of hops, but also features local food producers, musicians, performers, children’s activities and more.

Rides are open to all reasonably fit riders - non-Audax members are most welcome to join our friendly and supportive participants

Our Region

Bright, located in Victoria's Great Alpine Valleys makes an ideal family holiday destination or couples escape. Bright is located in North East Victoria, in a valley surrounding by the Alpine National Park and Mount Buffalo National Park.

Our distinct seasons offer truly magnificent attributes; stunning Autumn colours, warm Summers, Mother nature comes alive in Spring and Winter provides a base the Alpine Resorts, Falls Creek, Mount Hotham and Mount Buffalo.

In autumn, Bright's famous avenues of huge deciduous trees – oaks, elms, poplars and Japanese maples – many of which are now more than 70 years old, paint the town red, orange, gold and yellow .
